We research and develop systems that can learn, adapt, and do useful work. Our focus spans AI, robotics, and connected homes, building on a decade of industrial automation engineering.

WHY WE DO THIS

Good engineering opens up new possibilities.

Can a robot adapt when the task changes? Can a home learn its occupants' routines? Can AI help people make better use of the information around them? These are the kinds of questions behind our R&D.

Our experience with complex automation gives us a place to start. We bring controls engineering, software, and systems integration into new applications, looking at how the parts need to work together.

Simulation, digital twins, and virtual commissioning help us examine system behavior while a design can still change. The aim is to understand the problem, develop an approach, and use what we learn to make it better.

How can systems learn from the information they already collect?

We research AI that can interpret operating data, anticipate maintenance needs, and support better decisions. The work reaches from industrial operations to the engineering tools used to build them.

Robotics

How can robots adapt to the work around them?

Our robotics development combines perception, movement, and control. We are exploring how robots can handle repetitive work, respond to changing conditions, and work alongside people across different industries.

What is PITCO working on in R&D?

Our research spans AI, robotics, and connected homes. Across these areas, we are developing ways for systems to understand their surroundings, coordinate their actions, and adapt to changing conditions. AEOS applies our development work to automation engineering itself.

How does this connect to your industrial engineering work?

A decade of automation projects gives us a practical foundation in controls, software, systems integration, and commissioning. We bring that experience into our research, along with engineering tools such as simulation and digital twins, to explore how new ideas can work as part of a complete system.
